An English steel-framed stained and leaded glass dome,
early 20th Century, removed from the staircase sky-light of a large Vicarage in Oxfordshire,
the dome, constructed in ten segments glazed with graduated rectangles of polychrome obscured glass, giving way to a protected circular vent at the apex,
This attractive dome is salvaged from a large former Vicarage in Little Tew, Oxfordshire where it down-lit the main staircase. The house was for many years best known as having a small private theatre for staging amateur productions - a tradition that continued for many years.
