after the original gifted by Charles Townley to The British Museum, as featured in Johan Zoffany's 'Charles Townley’s Library, No. 7 Park Street, Westminster', painted in 1782,
the female figure shown emerging from lotus leaves, on socle.

The traditional naming of this figure as Clytie is thought incorrect by scholars. It is considered to depict the younger Antonia, daughter of Mark Antony and mother of the Emperor Claudius.
