A rare Queen Anne floor of wide antique oak floorboards,
early eighteenth century, removed from adjoined Hampshire cottages, built c.1702,
23sqm in total: variable widths and board lengths, but most widths over 22cm, going up to 29cm; most boards around, or in excess of 3m. A small amount of short boards, and a few boards under 20cm in width. Fixable split ends, small holes, dishing, open knots, and shakes all counted in the overall meterage,

the cottages, and this floor, were disassembled and re-built on the same estate in 1785, to facilitate landscaping of the grounds- and to make way for a lake,
