Anton Hartinger was an Austrian artist who specialized in still life paintings of fruit and flowers. He was born in Vienna in 1806 and  a member of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1843 to 1851. He later became a pioneer in the field of chromolithographic printing. He died in Vienna in 1890.

    Solid tongue and grooved reclaimed English Oak woodblock parquet removed from workshop buildings in Stratford, London. Blocks are sold loose with a slightly bituminous underside and require cleaning, laying and finishing sympathetically. The blocks are quarter sawn English oak and present a spectrum of mid to dark browns and an undulating well-worn surface. Ideal for small rooms and extensions, bars, bedrooms, libraries and offices.
