each upright, of square section bar, topped with a large spear-top finial, secured into panels with a shoulder rail,

This run comprises 88No. of the above panels – on removal the horizontal shoulder bar was cut into sections of 50-70cm widths – comprising 3 to 6 pales each. So there is a run of approximately 45m comprising about 260spears. A longer run might be obtainable by using some additional panels needing restoration. This railing will need to be set at the base – some supporting stantions are available.
