The Principles and Practice of Modern House Construction
An early edition of this set detailing the principles underlying the construction of houses in the nineteenth century. Under the editorship of architect George Lister Sutcliffe, this set contains the guidance of several authors on the construction of modern houses. Illustrated, with five plates to volumes I, II, IV, and V, four plates to volume III, and three plates to volume VI, collated and complete. The six volumes contain sections on construction, water supply, drainage, sewage disposal, ventilation, lighting, and sanitation. With some scribbles to the verso of the rear endpaper of volume I. With fourteen pages of adverts to the rear of volume VI, and a list of subscribers to Modern House Construction. Six volumes
