Bacon’s large print map of London

George Washington Bacon was an American mapmaker and publisher who developed a successful business producing maps of London. His company, G.W. Bacon and Co merged with that of W & A.K. Johnston in around 1900, but atlases and street guides to London continued to be published under the Bacon name until around the mid 1960s.
