This nicely cast series of cast iron spindles comprises a run of 75. with flat bases and a pitched top. Of these, approximately 50no. at 78cm high (76cm excluding bottom lug) and 25no. at 86cm high (83cm excluding bottom lug). There are several further examples with steeper pitched bases, or flat bases…. a total of 90 spindles.
