An English plaster cast of a cherub,
cast at LASSCO
the chubby-faced angel with side-parted hair backed with a pair of wings,
£28
This small casting was taken from a carved oak original – the grain of the timber can be descerned. It looks to be of a 17th century origin – after Grinling Gibbons but is more likely a 19th Cenury original.
