An English cast iron three-tier fountain
the tapered fluted stem surmounted by a spout and supporting three graduated circular dishes, the base ornamented with three fish, also available with herons at base.
This is a replica piece. Coalbrookdale, Shropshire, founded in 1709 was the most famous and innovative cast iron "art" foundries of the 18th and 19th Centuries. Coalbrookdale sold their fountains painted white or sometimes "bronzed".This fountain can be plumbed for the fish, as well as the central spout, to issue water in low jets into a pool.
