This is a replica piece. Coalbrookdale, Shropshire, founded in 1709 was the most famous and innovative cast iron "art" foundries of the 18th and 19th Centuries. Coalbrookdale sold their fountains painted white or sometimes "bronzed".This fountain can be plumbed for the fish, as well as the central spout, to issue water in low jets into a pool.
