A late Victorian painted limestone pulpit parapet
in the Gothic Revival taste,
the stone panels comprising pairs of lancet arches each framing a depiction of a saint, and each with a quatrefoil above depicting an attendant angel naming the saint, and a relief carved patera below, the two pairs of painted arches on an angled stone panel -when abutted the three angled panels forming a parapet roughly hexagonal in plan, each parcel-gilt oil painting applied to the stone on a canvas ground,

The saints depicted are English saints: St. Edmund, [A Saint with a cross], St. Edwin, St. Margaret, St. Edward the Confessor, St. Hilda, St. Oswald, St Edith and two others (indecipherable).
