LASSCO Three Pigeons, our Oxfordshire shop, is available as a venue for commercial or private events: please contact Amanda Garrett on 01844 277 189 (amanda@lassco.co.uk) in order to discuss any ideas you have – we would love to hear from you.
Whether it is an AGM, a Film Shoot, a Book Launch or a Party we can help. We can book events for daytime or evening on any day of the week and can take bookings to include dining or just coffees and nibbles – whatever suits your requirements. Our current restaurant menu can be viewed here.
We have five buildings set in approximately two acres all packed with glorious Architectural Antiques including a large secure paddock and a marquee. The Three Pigeons building itself is a characterful restaurant with an open kitchen and bar area. There is flexible seating at tables of various sizes for approximately 28 covers in the main restaurant area – with potential for many more in the garden area in summer. We have ample free parking and immediate access to the M40. Our paddock is licensed for clay-pigeon shooting. We have had some tremendous fireworks displays here as well as live music on stages both inside and outside.
By way of testimonials, at the time of writing, we have thirty reviews on Tripadvisor which you can peruse here . Our premises license allows for live music as well as dancing and of course the sale of alcohol – with wine suppliers and local micro-breweries offering a fantastic selection of ales and lagers beyond those already on our menu.
For presentations, lectures, talks, book launches and small conferences we can provide the same spaces cleared of tables and replaced by eclectic rows of chairs if preferred. We are heated with two log burning stoves and a large open fire which give a wonderful homely feel. For meetings of up to 12 people we have secluded rooms upstairs. All of the interior spaces are, as is the LASSCO way, heavily ornamented(!) with all manner of architectural salvage.
Please conduct your own virtual tour of the inside of the shop, and some of the outside, here – or take a spin with some 360degree panoramic shots of our shop and yard here.
We have been holding a series of our own talks “LASSCO Luminaries” over recent months with experts enlightening us on their chosen field. To name three: Farrow & Ball held a talk on the use of Colour in Interior Decor, the Canton Tea Company held a Tea Tasting and Gardening Broadcaster Paul Williams gave a Container Planting demonstration. All attendees loved the atmosphere of our shop you’ll find pictures of the events on our Facebook timeline here.
