Elkington & Co EPNS Loysel’s patent hydrostatic percolator,
date stamped 1866,
having a shaped lid with gadrooned detail to lip, surmounted by knopped finial with further gadrooned detail. The simple urn shaped body flanked by inverted scrolled handles, leading to ornate valve, simple shaped base. Both the front and back of the percolator are engraved with attractive scroll and foliate details, the back details is centred by a griffin.
