The fireback depicts the wedding banquet at a long table at which the guests are seated – a feast is laid out before them. The bride is sitting in the middle of the table with a crown on her head. On the far left is Jesus. In the foreground is one of the servants tending wine amphora – in the story, when the wine ran out Jesus turned water to wine – and another servant brings dishes to the table.
