Superior Interiors
This weekend's Financial Times 'How to Spend It' magazine had a special interiors edition, ' Superior Interiors'. It included an interesting article by Simon Brooke about the rise in popularity of hotel memorabilia:
''While a well known name and a good story can form part of the appeal, recognisable logos are not essential, explains Anthony Reeve of architectural salvage company Lassco, which has handled pieces from Claridge's and The Dorchester recently. "It's about provenance and the history and the aura of the hotels that these items come from. They're real conversation pieces".
