What bliss to be able to poke about among other people's discarded junk knowing that lunch awaits a step away and is, moreover, served on antique garden tables that you can buy. So it is at the Oxford branch of LASSCO, the reclaimation company that supplies floorboards, baths and fire surrounds to the urban chic. And now food too – cooked by Claire Assis, ex-Le Manoir, whose lunchtime menu includes fennel, borlotti bean, mushroom and spinach salad, and roast pumpkin, tomato and ricotta risotto.
