Rahima Kenner & ‘Group LASSCO’

Rahima is a painter and printmaker, specialising in etching and monoprint.  She lives in Oxford and exhibits both locally & in London.  Recent exhibitions include Lauderdale House & Museum of Modern Art Oxford & upcoming shows include Hereford Museum and Christchurch Picture Gallery as well as Oxfordshire Artweeks here.                                     

      Rahima has a portable etching press with which she is happy to do demonstrations and 'outreach' workshops.

The colourful monoprints are one-off paintings executed in intaglio inks onto a printing plate, then passed through the press onto pure cotton mould-made paper. They may be combined with pastels. 

Birds and landscapes feature strongly as subject matter.  Commissions are accepted.
