Reclaimed Planks

Claudia Bryant of Livingetc, designed and produced the following ensemble for a recent photo shoot, and we really rather like it!

"Construct a piece of abstract wall art from random planks of reclaimed timbers. Add drama with contemporary white furniture and the occasional splash of intense colour. Screw horizontal and vertical battens in the shape of a grid on the wall. Lay out the boards on a large surface so you can play around with them before nailing them to the battens. Work from top to bottom." Livingetc, September 2007.
