Funds raised by the Three Pigeon’s Launch Party
LASSCO was pleased and proud to raise nearly £200 for a local MIND association at its launch party last month. Monies were raised by encouraging guests to place bets on which racing pigeon would get home first following a huge liberation of them to commemorate the official opening of its new shop in Milton Common- LASSCO Three Pigeons. This is a difficult time for the charity, MIND (for better mental health), having just received a cut in funding so it made the event even more memorable for all concerned. LASSCO is pleased to report that all the pigeons got home safely and as you can see from the accompanying pictures gave some of our younger guests their first experience of pigeon-handling.
