A portrait in oils depicting a moustachioed gentleman foregrounded in a scene of nodding palm trees under blue skies. His fine double breasted suit and wingtip collar with pendant saltire decoration imparts an air of prosperity and authority to this otherwise enigmatic individual. -

A good batch of square-edged pine sarking boards with character – lovely wide boards but originally cut from lower grade timber, and thinner for use on the under-side of roofing. These are not intended for use as flooring (but it has been done by using such timbers as a “skin”) they can be used for cladding/panelling and, being so wide, have a great look and texture. Condition: worn with dints and scratches commensurate with age, surface nail holes but quite clean – some split. Most are 270mm wide but some are a bit narrower. -

A tough batch of tongue and groove pine floor boards with character – they’ve had a long life but still look great – thick boards these so take note of thickness allowances at thresholds. Condition: worn with dints and scratches commensurate with age, surface nail holes but quite clean – all-in-all solid and uniform. Tongues often damaged or lacking, grooves similar but can be aid as square edge. -

Good grain, square edge boards, adzed on the underside – an indictor of age, Condition: straw patina, pleasantly worn with dints and scratches commensurate with age, surface nail holes but quite clean but all-in-all solid and uniform – good condition these. 165mm wide and very good lengths across the batch: many @ 4metres [30mm thick], nb. the adzed underside does introduce extra allowances needed when laying. -
