The American Lobster 1896
Francis Hobart Herrick (1858-1940) was for many decades Professor of Biology at Western Reserve University, Ohio. His early research focused on the American lobster in New England. His work revealed that over-harvesting egg-producing adult lobsters was threatening the species and risking destruction of the American lobster industry. -
