This wonderful panelled room was recovered during the recent demolition of a major City of London building. It is known to have been salvaged from an English Country estate during the 1950's. Research is yet to establish which house it came from. Given the rate of demolition of large Country Houses in the 1950's - up to one every fortnight in 1955 - its origin may never be known.
