A Regency Bath stone chimneypiece,
English, c.1805,
the rectangular shelf with reeded edge over reeded frieze and jambs, with 'bullseye' roundel end-blocks, and raised on square foot-blocks,

An early example, the frieze and jambs of this chimneypiece are carved in the solid, rather than ‘boxed-up’ out of stone panels. There is a restored crack to the shelf.
