Overview

Maltby Street Market is the weekly street food and provisions market stretching the length of our narrow Ropewalk site in Bermondsey, South East London.

From a modest start the market has grown somewhat haphazardly into inhabiting the role of both laboratory and proving ground for London’s burgeoning street food movement. Stalls are arranged along one side of a narrow private yard while bars and eateries are nestled within the seven Victorian Railway Arches that run the length of the site.

A true original, the quality and diversity of our traders is a source of particular pride to us while through a gently rotating roster of visiting stall-holders we work hard to maintain freshness and novelty.

Bar Tozino

Bar Tozino Bermondsey is a hidden gem for those who love jamon and good wine, you can expect to be in for a night to remember at this Spanish-inspired restaurant and bar. With jamon literally hanging from the roof, then carved in front you, this is the place to gather your crew, order several rounds of small plates and wine and settle in for some seriously delicious fare.

The space itself features wooden furnishings, low hanging lights and an outdoor dining area which matches the menu perfectly. Speaking of, keep an eye out for Cocido de la Casa chorizo and chickpea stew; Gambas of king prawns cooked in garlic, chilli & lime and the classic tapas dishes of Patatas Bravas roasted potatoes with spicy tomato sauce & ali-oli. Located under the railway arches of Maltby Street in Bermondsey, Bar Tozino is a firm favourite for very good reason.
