An early Victorian copper and wrought iron cockerell weathervane,
c.1850, matched elements,
the cock modelled in sheet copper with a verdi-gris patina, the bird with pierced eye-holes, a flaboyant tale and a spike finial, the indices mounted on the square-section standard,

We know that the standard was salvaged in Preston, the cock was un-earthed in Leeds. The two work well together.
