Nb. These windows are enormous. We don’t normally salvage sash windows as the demand for re-using them is limited. These are however exceptional to the extent that window joinery workshops would baulk at the making of them. Restoring them, for a sash-window workshop should however be fairly straightforward.

The windows have been boarded up within a stud wall for decades so the timber has been kept dry and well preserved. The glass has not survived so well – the twelve sash panes on one window are lacking, one of the panes on one of the other sashes is lacking – the top lights remain glazed.

These windows could be fabulous additions to an orangery, studio, garden building or restaurant – perhaps as an internal screen-wall.
