Thomas Elsley’s firm was a well respected manufacturer with workshops on Great Titchfield Street in central London. They were in production from 1882 to 1905 and produced classics – including a return to many Georgian designs as well as innovative metalwork. Elsley produced much of the designs created by C.F.A.Voysey – including fireplace furniture, door furniture and decorative ironwork. Elsley’s held a number of patents for engineered door-furniture.
