A George III sterling silver salt cellar,
London, 1763, William Bateman I,
the cauldron shaped salt cellar, with applied gadroon border, the whole raised on triple hoof shaped feet. The salt also comes with spoon, hallmarked rubbed, the spoon having scallop shaped end with simple stem and ball finial.
