A French limestone trough,
19th Century or earlier,
the large rectangular cistern, with regularly hewn walls, lichen growths and with knocks and marks commensurate with age,
SOLD OUT
These ancient troughs – found in farmyards, courtyards and village squares in the South of France make fantastic garden ornaments. They can be planted – this, as per the norm, has drainage but with the hole plugged it makes for a water-filled cistern.
Obviously the logistics of moving these troughs needs to be considered. We can usually offer a kerbside crane delivery on our own truck – or if our vehicle can access your intended location we can drop it into place. Please get in touch to discuss.
