LASSCO has in stock eleven fine scagliola columns made for Prince Jefri of Brunei.
In imitation of the rarest of marbles, Convent Siena and Russian Malachite they were made by Hayles & Howe for one of London’s twentieth century most remarkable and ill fated follies – the conversion of the Playboy Club in Park Lane as a personal playground for the errant Prince. Purchased and refurbished at a cost of very many millions of pounds, designed by Versace, and never occupied, the building is now an extension of the Dorchester.
Beautifully made, hurriedly stripped out and salvaged by LASSCO they are monuments to the most lavish extravagance.
Needless to say – available at a fraction of their original cost.
