Trafalgar Day

NelsonTrafalgar Day on 21st October marks the day when, and let's not beat about the bush here, Admiral Horatio Nelson beat the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. His most famous triumph which made him one of Britain's most famous war heroes.  LASSCO Three Pigeons has a lifesize plaster statue  (pictured) of the Admiral, details below:

Also on display in the shop is a Regency pine and composition shop counter made 5 years after this monumental victory and which was in use until 1918 until LASSCO salvaged it from Regent St.
