An oak occasional table

Early 20th century

having square top above dentil frieze supported on four bobbin turned legs, supporting shelf leading to unusual cast claw and ball feet. There is an interesting sticker underneath the table top which reads - "Patented Sept. 29, 1896, No. 568397. This solves the problem of knock-down construction. Put a little glue in the slot, drive the leg up solid and then put in the shelf. Don't forget the glue. Conrey & Birely table Co."
