    Oak Beams

    New at The Three Pigeons this week –  a collection of various shapes, lengths and finishes of Oak Beams.  Most, but not all, from France (the rest from Wales).  The reclaimed ones have been cleaned, polished, de-nailed  by hand and then waxed.   Prices start at £38.00.

    In The Footsteps of History

    Newly arrived, a handsome parcel of Baltic Pine Floorboards from the Russian Embassy, Kensington Palace Gardens. A piece of history undoubtedly acquainted with the sole of Kruschev's shoe.  The building was originally designed by architect David Brandon and built in 1853 by Kelk in Mayfair, the company responsible for The Albert Memorial.
